Who We Are

Grand Bay Kennels is owned and operated by Bill & Bev Thomas. Both were born and raised in Traverse City Michigan.  Bill met the breed while hunting over one of his best friend's Spinone. After researching Spinones and learning of their great attributes regarding hunting, being one of the easier breeds for training, gentleness with kids and strangers, being relaxed in the house, and  being clowns in a dog suit at times, Bill & Bev decided this was the breed for them.  Bill & Bev have spent a lot of time training the dogs in the field, home, and show ring.  Both Bill & Bev are very active in the Spinone world as well as NAVHDA.  They both hope to hear from you.
